Open Access Policy

Worldwide Medicine provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supporting a greater global exchange of knowledge. Open access means that all content is freely available on the internet, permitting any users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. The only constraint on reproduction and distribution and the only role for copyright in this domain, is given to authors to retain control over the integrity of their work and the right to be properly acknowledged and cited. This is in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition of open access.
The articles in Worldwide Medicine are open access articles licensed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0).
